

Quarteto Vivace Brasil
Quarteto Vivace Brasil, Founded in 2007 by four master musicians, QUARTETO VIVACE BRASIL is one of the most exciting new groups on the South American music scene. The quartet was quickly booked up for a nearly month-long premiere U.S. tour, and they proceeded to conquer the hearts and ears of listeners from New York City and Boston to New Orleans, Texas and California, winning standing ovations from packed halls and high praise from the teachers whose students interacted with the group during their many school visits. Their current U.S. tour brings the quartet to Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas and California.

Edson Lopez is a sought-after performer in Brazil, appearing in solo, duo, and trio concerts as well as performing concertos with orchestra. As a former member of the Brazilian Guitar Quartet, Mr. Lopes performed in across the USA as well as at international festivals in Hong Kong, Mexico and Denmark.
Roberto Colchiesqui began his guitar studies at the Tatuí Conservatory in 1979 under Francisco Araújo. In 1984 he did advanced guitar studies with Edson Lopes, with whom he formed a guitar duo. As a recording artist, Mr. Colchiesqui has released two CDs, “Prelúdio” and “Violão de Louvor.”
Tadeu Coelho frequently appears as soloist, chamber musician, and master clinician throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. He has performed as principle flutist of the Santa Fe Symphony, Hofer Symphoniker in Germany, and the Spoleto Festival Orchestra in Italy, among others, including guest appearances with the Boston Symphony. He made his New York recital début at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 1992.
Rodrigo Marinonio studied classical percussion at Brazil’s Tatuí Conservatory before entering the department of Jazz and Popular Music. After graduating from that program in 1998, Mr. Marinonio moved to Denmark, where he freelanced, and performed at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, among others. Returning to Brazil, Marinonio performed with notable Brazilian artists such as Altamiro Carrilho, Hector Costita, Francis Hime, Leila Pinheiro and Dori Caymmi. Marinonio has appeared as guest artist on CDs ranging from Brazilian choro music to wind orchestra to big band.
